September!
Wow, it's September already and I'm 20 months old. Here is what my caregivers at school reported in the last week.
Thursday: I bit the bully. I left a mark and made him cry. I wouldn't look Mama in the face when I came home. I just cried. She said "no biting, biting hurts." I said otay. "Instead you say 'stop, help!' and raise your hands." Otay Mama.
Friday: I hit my friend across the face and left a mark. I kept telling Mama and Dada that she is my friend and when they said "no hitting, hitting hurts," I said otay.
Monday: I was back to playing nicely with my friend I hit on Friday. Thank goodness she is a forgiving soul. However, I bit a different friend and I would have done it a second time if someone hadn't intervened. Mama asked if she was my friend, YEH of course! "no biting, biting hurts; no hitting, hitting hurts. Otay.
Mama said to Dada he got what he wanted for Halloween: a vampire tot. "She had a taste and now she has bloodlust! She's infected!"
Tuesday: nothing to report, no news is good news!
Wednesday: I came home with PINK EYE! yuk.
I stayed home today, I have a fever and Mama is treating my eyes with drops.
In other BIG news:
I'm a BIG sister. My little sister's name is Khalen. I like to pet her head and kiss her. Mama says she will upload more pix soon.

Happy New Year
Hello! I am 1 year old!
Can you believe it?
I had a birthday brunch some of my friends like Calla (pictured) came. Why does my Dada look so very cute in this picture, maybe even as cute as we are. At my party, we had fun singing and bouncing with Sing and Play.
But so much has happened since I last babyblogged! I went to Puerto Rico for the first time and had lots of fun swimming, playing, and relaxing with Mama and Dada all to myself. The following week, I met the first lady during our Christmas in Washington trip. It was an experience I'll never forget, especially since I had time with my boy friends.
I also has my first Christmas.
Wow I've been busy. I still don't get this open presents thing, but every so often Mama lets me play with something new that I got over the past few weeks. Let me give you a quick summary of what else I've been up to:
I have 3 top teeth and two bottom teeth
I can say Ninang, duck, and yah
I also say something that sounds like "wiggidy wiggidy whack" often, but no one else knows what it means
I can take about 15 steps unassisted when I think no one's watching
I love to eat things like pasta, mini-waffles, grapes, and yogurt
I am very ticklish (like Dada)
I enjoy books while on the potty
I like to give "mwa" kisses to my rubber ducky and beanie bear in addition to Mama and Dada
and I'm in the midst of transitioning to the toddler section of daycare - I'm not an infant anymore!
2009 is going to be a rockin' year. I already have some travel plans. I'm really excited. I hope to see more of you.

Hello, Fall!
Wow, October has been a great month so far. I've had quite a few firsts:
First time on a plane
First time on a cruise
First time out of the country (Bahamas)
First time wearing a life jacket
First time using words like "up" and "more"
First time using potty for #1 AND #2
I've been having so much fun that time flies so fast! Can you believe I'm 10 months old this week? I use my walker regularly. I like to feed myself. Cheerios, Gerber snacks, veggies, fruit, and toast. MaMa and DaDa put out a placemat and let me go to town.
This Friday will be my first Halloween. I am going to be T-Rae Rex. I am excited because my costume is super comfy and enjoy wearing it very much. I think MaMa and DaDa are also super excited. I'm sure they will help me post pictures and blog about it later.

Just in the past month, MaMa and DaDa have witnessed me do the following new things:
Self feed from a small bottle
Self feed teether biscuits
Pull myself up to standing in my crib
Attempted escape from bouncer (there was also a report of a swing escape at daycare)
I also babble a lot more. Sometimes it sounds like "da-da-da-da" and other times, I remind Ninang Rina of The Grudge sound. She likes to call it T-Rae now since we saw Walking with Dinosaurs this weekend for DaDa's belated birthday celebration. Yes, I went to Madison Square Garden for the first time! This past month I also went to two first birthday parties, one for BFF Lukas and the other for Mateo. They are awful kind and sweet little boys. I even went on our first overnight beach trip to Avalon with Lukas. He's a lot of fun, but a bit more mobile than I am.
I just can't sit still anymore. I always want to try to stand-up. Sometimes I have to annoy DaDa with my T-Rae noise until he helps me stand. I like to stand in my pack-n-play, but once I fall down, I need help getting up because there's nothing to hold on to.
This month, I plan to go to my first ball. MaMa got me some cute maryjanes from BabyStyle so I can join in on the line dancing. My first Summer ever is pretty great, but it's zooming by quite quick!
